The company will also offer a comprehensive training program and online export certification to 1,000 Vietnamese businesses.

These commitments are part of a strategic cooperation program titled "V-Brands Go Global with Amazon," signed on July 23 by Amazon Global Selling Vietnam and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade), an agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The program represents a significant advancement in the partnership between Vietrade and Amazon Global Selling Vietnam and aims to bolster the competitiveness and adaptability of Vietnamese enterprises in the global market by promoting digital trade.

According to Vietrade General Director Vu Ba Phu, active and diverse trade promotion activities on digital platforms are essential for Vietnamese firms to improve their global competitiveness and ensure sustainable development.

Larry Hu, General Director of Amazon Global Selling Southeast Asia, said that e-commerce exports are now a major driving force in Vietnam’s trade strategy and brand development.

Amazon Global Selling will help businesses in emerging economic regions innovate their products, embrace digital transformation, and expand globally.

Following the partnership, Vietrade and Amazon Global Selling Vietnam will launch a program to provide Vietnamese businesses, manufacturers, and exporters with the knowledge and support necessary to build strong brands and increase export value.

This year, Amazon Global Selling Vietnam will help Vietnamese manufacturers tap into the potential of online exports, strengthen the industry ecosystem, improve logistics capacity, and support sellers through specialized training programs.

Moreover, the company will help northern high-tech and textile companies leverage the advantages of the growing semiconductor industry, advanced ICT infrastructure, and established garment manufacturing expertise.

For southern manufacturers and agricultural producers, Amazon will provide support in furniture production, electronics, and exporting specialty agricultural products.

According to Amazon Global Selling Vietnam, more than 60% of products sold on Amazon are from third-party sellers, including thousands of Vietnamese businesses. Over the past five years, the number of Vietnamese-made products sold on Amazon has increased fourfold.
