The Hanoi Times - Apple has launched an online store for the Vietnamese market. Customers can order goods on this site and pay by Visa or Mastercard.

The major language on Apple Store for Vietnam (store.apple.com/Vietnam) is English but the prices for products are listed in Vietnamese dong. According to Apple, products will be transported to Vietnam within one or two days.
This online store now offers new iPods, the 2008 versionof the MacBook, the Mac Mini, cases for the iPods and laptops, and software for Mac.
However, the prices for these products are higher than those in the US or on Apple Stores for other countries. There are several reasons for this but the first is customers have to pay tax and shipping fees.
The launch of this store proves Apple’s interest in this 80-million-people market, where MacBooks, iPhones, and iPods are very “hot”.
