Australian PM Scott Morrison meets Vietnamese PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc in Hanoi amid the thriving relationship.
Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison is warmly welcomed in Hanoi when he is on a three-day visit to Vietnam on August 22-24, fanning hope that the bilateral strategic partnership will be further strengthened.
Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his spouse Jenny Morrison arrived in Noi Bai International Airport on Thursday afternoon.
Minister and Head of the Government’s Office Mai Tien Dung, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Dung, and Vietnamese Ambassador to Australia Ngo Huong Nam welcomed the Australian PM and his wife at the airport.
On 23, Vietnam’s Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received the Australian counterpart at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi.


The two governments’ leaders have had breakfast together with the participation of representatives from two countries’ businesses.
