Lively Black Friday atmosphere on the streets of Hanoi

As Black Friday this year falls on November 25, many clothing and electronic stores in the city have run their discount campaigns in advance.

“Sales off” banners spring up at Hanoi’s retail stores as the Black Friday shopping festival falls this week.

  A fashion store of the Jockey brand is offering discounts of up to 70%.
  A banner shows up to 80% discounts on all items from November 18 to 27.
  A fashion outlet of China's premier sports brand Li-Ning offers 30-90% off on many items.
  A signboard advertises an 80% sale at a fashion store on Pham Ngoc Thach Street, Dong Da District.
  A fashion store staff in Cau Giay Street told The Hanoi Times: “In the past two years, our retail chains reported a decline in turnover due to the Covid-19. This year, the fashion market will recover to the usual level, especially during the Black Friday festival.”
  The shop will discount up to 80% on all summer items and 20-30% on the latest ones to lure consumers, she said.
  Electronic appliances such as television, smartphones, and laptops are on sale for the Black Friday festival.
  Promotion campaigns for the Black Friday sales will run from one to two weeks.
  A Canifa fashion outlet offers 50% off on products for kids.
