Boosting broadcasting cooperation with Mongolia

Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Mongolian National Broadcaster (MNB) have assented to a cooperation agreement with respect to the telecommunication of radio and television broadcasting.

“It is fitting the agreement comes on the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries,” said MNB Deputy Director General Batbayar Yondonsambuu.

“It symbolises the fine relations that have evolved between Vietnam and Mongolia.” he added.

VOV representative Tran Dang Khoa in turn said the two countries have strong cultural, traditional and social connections.

Cooperation between the two radio stations will contribute to a further uplift in culture, lifestyle and tourism of both countries,” Khoa said.

Established in 1934, the MNB now has four radio channels, two television channels and a website providing broadcasting services to more than 90% of Mongolia’s nearly 3 million population.
