Changes in the lighting system of the capital

The capital's lighting system is gradually changing to ensure lighting capabilities and create beauty for the city as well as high adaptability to different circumstances.

The lighting system on some streets of the capital such as Phan Dinh Phung, Dien Bien Phu, Tran Hung Dao, Hang Bai and Ba Trieu has made major changes to deal with different circumstances.

On these roads, the lights are designed eye-catchingly. In addition, the light of the lamps is also quite diverse, from classic white to yellow light.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh from Quan Thanh Ward, Ba Dinh District said that, before the lighting system was always covered by trees, now the agencies have arranged light poles with longer lamp levers making the lighting effect better and the lights look very eye-catching.

The led lights with white light on some streets like Hang Bai and Ba Trieu do not only ensure the lighting but also significantly increase the lighting efficiency in foggy and drizzly days.

As in the evening of December 27, the day Hanoi appeared foggy and drizzling, the use of led lights with white light helped the roads become brighter. As a result, the movement of vehicles is also more convenient. One citizen commented: “When it gets dark, the lights of Hanoi are turned on, combining with the lighting decorative system, the capital is incredibly gentle, glamorous and beautiful.

The embellishment and beautification of the urban landscape not only aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the people of the capital, but also shows the culture, civilization and urban beauty to welcome a new year with good fortune.
These changes are more meaningful as Hanoi Government attempts to build a Bright-Green-Clean-Beautiful city.
