Check-in a picnic site in Binh Dinh having beauty of Jeju Island

Trung Luong is a picnic camping site with stretched coastline, white sandy beaches, hills and winding ladders along the mountain which will make you feel like you are visiting South Korea.

The central province of Binh Dinh has recently added a destination which has no inferior beauty compared to South Korea's Jeju Island. It is Trung Luong picnic area in Phu Cat district, about 30km from Quy Nhon city.

If someone asks what is the special thing about Trung Luong picnic area that you like the most? Perhaps the answer is the beautiful and peaceful scenery and fresh air. Since its opening, Trung Luong has quickly become a hot tourist destination of Binh Dinh that attracted a lot of visitors who come for fun and camping activities.
Trung Luong is a picnic camping site with stretched coastline, white sandy beaches, hills and winding ladders along the mountain which will make you feel like you are visiting South Korea – the kimchi land.

The highlight of the resort is the beautiful Trung Luong beach, which stretches along Provincial Road DT 639. The scenery is charming as the beach winds through the mountains having silky stone slabs sculptured by nature. From above, the sea is so quiet and peaceful.
However, the most attractive thing of the Trung Luong picnic area is the spacious amusement park, which is very romantic with red and green tent roofs, rows of colorful seats looking directly to the sea. You can take beautiful photos in every corner here such as the lawn with colorful tents looking to the limestone mountain, green trees around or the high ground where you can set the eyes to the blue sea. The tents are also places for visitors wishing to spend the night here. For tourists groups, spending the night with fire camping, singing, watching the stars, listening to the waves lapping the shore will be an unforgettable experience here.

If you want to find yourself a private space to enjoy the fresh air or simply relax, then selecting the floor area of the campsite to watch the sunrise, walking on paved road to the sea, or on the white sandy beach area are all interesting experiences. The peaceful sea and the stretched white sandy beach will make you satisfied.
In the picnic area, there are also restaurants, which is separated but not too far from the campsite, you can enjoy both delicious sea food and watching the finest scenery at the same time. The food here is mainly fresh delicious seafood caught by local fishermen such as squid, shrimp, fish and crab, which can be steamed, fried and grilled.  In addition, there are other dishes such as chicken, rice, noodles and drinks. Other restaurants here offer food at very reasonable prices.

Especially, this place does not require entrance fee, tourists can freely enter and explore. However, because visitors have to travel 30km to Trung Luong from Binh Dinh’s downtown, they should rent a room to spend the night (VND300,000 (US$12.8/2 people). Night time is suitable for fire camping (fire camp VND500,000/night) and also a good option for couples who want to walk romantically along the beach.
To make the trip meaningful, visitors can combine visiting relics and spiritual destinations nearby such as Ong Nui (Linh Phong Pagoda), Nui Ba Victory Monument relic, Thien Hung Monastery with the tallest Buddha sculpture in Southeast Asia (under construction).
