Childs enjoy benefits from Innovation

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) in collaboration with UNICEF organized a ceremony to announce the World`s Children Report 2014 themed "Innovation for every child " on December 4.

According to the UNICEF’s report, the protection of children with the child protection system based on 1,117 communes across the country, and the efficient prevention and settlement on children abuse, violence and exploitation in Vietnam have had positive changes. 
 
 
The network of social workers has been established with over 30 social service centers has provided vulnerable people,children and families, with good services. 
Children under the age of five had birth birth certificates account for 96.1%.
The report on the situation of wold’s children presented 9 principles to maximize benefits which ensure innovation to meet needs and promote the rights of every child, especially underprivileged and vulnerable children.
Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) said: “The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) has actively coordinated with ministries, branches to complete the legal system and policies on protection and care for children under the task on the implementation of children's rights assigned by the Government. In particular, policies on compeleting the revised Law on the Protection, Care and Education of Children; improving basic social services, especially child protection service for poor children, children from remote areas, and ethnic minority children; enhancing the participation of children and the community in the protection and care of children; and strengthening information systems, databases of children,etc have been implementing.”
The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) highly appreciates and supports the ideas, innovations, especially solutions come from the children and young people, so that we can access to groups of disadvantaged children and help them carry out their rights of the children to develop their full potential.
