Communication program on traffic safety to be launched in the Capital
The Hanoi People’s Committee issued Plan No.114/KH-UBND with an effort to increase the information work and popularization of maintaining traffic safety according to themes of the National Traffic Safety Committee “Traffic Safety for Children” and “People’s Life First”.
The communication program on traffic safety aims to improve the awareness of state agencies, transport enterprises as well as people to comply with traffic laws and maintain traffic safety, reduce traffic jams and accidents, and increase urban order and civilization.
Under the Plan, the Capital will take following actions:
Organize quiz with pictures via an IT software, communications programs and events in schools of Hanoi to improve people’s awareness; honor good people with good deeds in increasing traffic safety and order.
Release traffic safety and order slogan, print leaflets and offer them on buses, transport system and streets of Hanoi.
Hang banners and posters to popularize traffic safety, order an popularize the quiz on the streets on the occasion of opening the quiz, during Peak Campaign of Traffic Safety and Order in September as well as other peak campaigns of communications.
Organize meetings in schools in urban and suburban districts to raise the teenagers’ awareness of traffic culture in Hanoi.
Continue launching the website giaothongthudo.ktdt.vn which popularizes policies and legal regulations on traffic safety of the Central and the city.
Publicize articles and photos of good deeds in ensuring traffic safety and order, and report bad behaviors which cause disorder; ensure interaction between the website and other social networks.
The communication activities will be conducted from June to December.
