From December 23 to 27, the biennial Da Lat Flower Festival 2017 will be held in Da Lat City, Lam Dong province, promising to bring a fragrant blossom to the Central Highlands city.

A total of 15 major events and more than 30 supporting events will be organised on the occasion with a focus on promoting the brand of Da Lat flowers and tourism through four key products including vegetables, flowers, Arabica coffee, and eco-tourism.
Highlight events include a fashion show featuring silk Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional dress), trade fairs and seminars to call on more investment to Da Lat, a wine tasting event to promote the Da Lat wine making industry, and a ceremony honouring the local tea and silk products.
The opening ceremony will be held at 8 pm on December 23 at Lam Vien square, featuring 500 artists on the stage. In addition to arts performances, the ceremony will also honour outstanding individuals and organisations who have made significant contributions to building and and developing the brand of Da Lat flowers.
Da Lat Flower Festival is a cultural festival which takes place every other year in Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, Vietnam and some other localities in Lamdong Province.
The festival is held with the purpose of exhibiting flowers, vegetables and ornamental plants from the local as well as other regions within the country and many other countries in the world in order to attract visitors to come to Da Lat, promote economic development of the city.
Da Lat Flower Festival is also an activity honoring the value of flowers and floriculture, calling for investment in Da Lat flower industry as well as promoting a positive image of the city, the culture and the people of Da Lat.
