Da Lat city is on its last- minute preparation work to celebrate a long-awaited tourism week which is scheduled from December 27 to 31.
To welcome its greatest event of the year, the local authority has upgraded pavements of all main 30 streets in the city. Lighting systems and signboards were set up to attract the public. The two new trading centres of Big C Da Lat and Da Lat New Market will also be put into operation to serve local people and tourists.
The city’s renowned tourist attractions such as Than Tho lake, Love valley, Prenn fall, Cam Ly fall and Xuan Huong lake were also renovated to better serve the visitors.
Local authorities are now building more parks, including Tran Quoc Toan park, the city’s first ever cherry blossom park, while renovating a range of ancient villas to host the tourists to the festival.
