Deputy PM received Deputy Chairman of Duma Committee on International Affairs
Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue yesterday hosted a reception in Hanoi for first Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Kalashnikov.

The Vietnamese Deputy PM said that the Vietnamese Party, Government and people always memorize and respect Russia’s assistance for Vietnam in its national liberation and development. He announced the Viet Nam Communist Party’s measures and tasks for its national development in the future, striving to achieve higher economic growth and pursuing independent, self-reliant, peaceful, multilateral and comprehensively and actively international integration diplomacy.
In his part, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs said that Russia hopes to make active contributions to accelerating the two nations’ relationship in their advantageous areas.
Mr. Kalashnikov confirmed that Russia always attaches importance to developing comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam; Vietnam is considered the leading partner in Southeast Asia.
