Digital X-ray launched

The Hanoi Times - The National Hospital for Paediatrics yesterday officially presented its three state-of-the-art digital X-ray machines, made by camera and computer printer specialists Canon.

The Hanoi Times - The National Hospital for Paediatrics yesterday officially presented its three state-of-the-art digital X-ray machines, made by camera and computer printer specialists Canon.


The flat panel detector based-technology was developed by Viet Ba IT.


The machines reduce patient and doctors’ exposure to radiation by 50 per cent, the hospital said in a press release.


"For conventional X-ray, it takes between 30-60 minutes to get the results. With DR X-ray machines, they can get the result within five minutes. With better image quality, diagnosis is more efficient and faster."

The systems were applied for treatment at the hospital o­n occasion of Vietnamese Doctor’s Day
