Economic & Urban Newspaper The Thainews sign cooperation memorandum

On February 29, at the headquarters of Economic & Urban Newspaper, representattives of Thainews (Thailand) and the Economic & Urban Newspaper signed cooperation memorandum between the two journals.

Taking the invitation of Chief Editor of Economic and Urban Newspaper Nguyen Minh Duc, from February 28 to March 5, 2016; Delegation of The Thainews (Thailand) led by Mrs. UbolnsanddA Supawan - Chief Editor of The Thainews have visited and worked with The Economic and Urban Newspaper, according to annual bilateral memorial event.

Two sides had a close meeting to discuss on professional skill, journalist experience; especially the  measures to  exchanging information on socio-economic status; urban management of Vietnam and Thailand as well as Hanoi and Chiangmai to publish on all publications, depending on demand and ability of two papers.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Chief Editor of Economic and Urban Newspaper shared experience of journalism and media development trend in Vietnam. At the mean time looking forward to the cooperation between the Economic & Urban Newspaper and The Thainews will be further tightened, as a prerequisite for the development of relations between Hanoi and Chiang Mai in particular, between Vietnam and Thailand in general in other areas such as investment, economic development and tourism, etc.

To the Thainews, Ms.Ubolnsandda Supawan - CEO of The Thainews believes that collaboration between two agencies would be the first step in opening up new opportunities in bilateral investment and economic cooperation. Ms. Supawan Ubolnsandda hope that Memorandum of cooperation between the two journals will promote the successful implementation of the objectives of cooperation.

The two newspaper representatives also agreed that they will regularly exchange and mutual assist in information and communication activities on the publication of two reports, especially the important events of the Chiangmai province and Hanoi as well as the focal point to coordinate business support between Thailand and Vietnam to study the market, investment opportunities, business; establish missions; promote culture and tourism in each country.
