The Asian Record’s Organization (ARO) has announced that eight Vietnamese specialties set new Asian record. They reflect typical value of Vietnamese regions.

Green bean cake of Hai Duong province (Viet Nam) known as ‘Banh Dau Xanh Hai Duong‘, is a sweet rectangular cake made with green bean, sugar, fat, grapefruit oil mixed together in reasonable percentage, and has been selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia. Since its initialization in the 20th century, this cake is largely consumed and become popular everywhere in Viet Nam, and as of now, it is exported to many countries around the world. |

Tea of Thai Nguyen province (Viet Nam) better known as Che Thai Nguyen’, is yellow colored like honey and due to its uniqueness, it is selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia. The tea is sweet scented and tastes like sweet tart and also is exported to many countries around the world. |

Cinnamon of Quang Ngai province (Viet Nam) better known as Que Tra Bong, is of strong quality and so is selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia. Tra Bong’s cinnamon is appreciated ad is exported to many countries over the world. |

Rice paper of Tay Ninh province (Viet Nam) known as ‘Banh Trang Phoi Suong’, is used as a snack or in main meals, and has been selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia. One kind of rice paper which is specialty of Tay Ninh province is ‘Banh Trang phơi sương Trang Bang’ (exposed frost rice paper). This light weight snack is largely consumed and is now exported to many countries around the world. |

Buon Me Thuot’s coffee of Dak Lak province (Viet Nam) known as Ca Phe Buon Me Thuot’, is a natural kind of coffee which is unadulterated and is thus selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia. Pepper of Kien Giang province (Viet Nam) known as Tieu Phu Quoc’, is a unique strong tasting and pungent smelling pepper which has been selected as one of the top specialty gifts of Asia. Its superior quality has made it famous among the domestic and foreign tourists and is now exported to many countries around the world. |
