Electing the Standing Board of 16th Hanoi Party Committee

Head of Hanoi Party Committee’s Commission for Popularisation and Education Nguyen Van Phong announced the result of the second day of sitting for the 16th municipal Party Committee Congress at the press conference in the afternoon of November 2.

Accordingly, the Standing Board of the new Committee for 2015-2020 includes 16 members.

Ngo Thi Thanh Hang, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee’s 15th tenure, was re-elected to the Permanent Deputy Secretary position of the 16th Committee. Meanwhile, Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Council; Dao Duc Toan, Chief of the Hanoi Party Committee’s Personnel Commission; and Nguyen Duc Chung, Director of Hanoi Police, were elected the Deputy Secretaries of the new Committee.
Politburo member Pham Quang Nghi, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee (15th tenure), was assigned to steer the new Committee.
Previously, the 16th Hanoi Party Committee Congress elected 74 cadres to the municipal Hanoi Party Committee for the 2015-2020 tenure during its first day of sitting on November 1.
