Enhancing parliamentary cooperation between Vietnam and Japan

On February 22, President of the Vietnam-Japan Group of Friendship Parliamentarians To Huy Rua received Tsutomo Takebe, special advisor to the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarian Alliance in Hanoi.

Rua said Vietnam backs the development of bilateral ties in their people’s interests and for regional stability, peace, and prosperity.
 



For his part, Tsutomu Takebe expressed his delight at his-re visit to Vietnam while hailing the comprehensive development of Vietnam-Japan relations as well as practical and effective activities of the the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Parliamentarians' Group over recent years. He also said he hopes both sides would accelerate the Vietnam-Japan University project.

Tsutomo Takebe promised to make more contributions to strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, two legislative bodies and exchanges between parliamentarians.
