From April 11 to 13, Tran Nhan Tong Walking Street in Hai Ba Trung District transforms into a lively cultural hub as the Hanoi Gift Tourism Festival 2025 unfolds.

THE HANOI TIMES — The exciting three-day event brings together locals and visitors to enjoy the best of Hanoi’s traditions, creativity, and cuisine.

Organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the festival aims to showcase the capital's most iconic gift products and offer visitors a means to experience the essence of Hanoi.

With the theme “Hanoi – World Heritage Destination,” Hanoi Gift Tourism Festival 2025 honors the city's cultural heritage through tourism gifts, encouraging visitors to connect with local values, create unforgettable memories, and share their love for Hanoi.

The world's best pickleball team makes a special appearance at the replica of a tea shop at the festival with champions like Andrei Daescu (2023 MLP Atlanta Champion), Genie Bouchard (Olympic Silver Medalist) and Jessie Irvine (Top 5 in all women's pickleball categories). 

Artists from Dao Thuc Folk Village bring the ancient art of water puppetry to life, offering a mesmerizing performance steeped in Vietnamese heritage.

Visitors explore tram No. 6 and sit by a nostalgic street tea shop, which has been recreated to reflect daily life in Hanoi during the centralized planning economy.

Live circus performances bring vibrant energy to the pedestrian mall, entertaining festival-goers of all ages.

The spotlight of this year’s Hanoi Gift Tourism Festival is the special cultural exchange with Phu Yen, featuring a vibrant showcase of the province’s culinary heritage on the evening of April 12.

A lively folk art performance from Phu Yen brings traditional rhythms and colors to the heart of the festival.

Skilled chefs captivate the audience with a live demonstration of butchering a 72kg ocean tuna, a true highlight of Phu Yen’s seafood culture.

Chef Nguyen Manh Thuat makes an array of exquisite dishes from fresh tuna, highlighting the richness of Phu Yen’s coastal cuisine.

One standout creation, ocean tuna rolled with fresh green cabbage, is offered to festival goers for a taste of Phu Yen's unique flavors.
