At the gate, there appears typical image of the Mid-North countryside with green aquarium, clean water well, next to the set of stone table for visitors to relax and avoid sunshine. On the total area of 1 hectare, Thanh Chuong Viet Phu consists of about 30 major architectural works, which are 13 old houses entitled poetic names such as: Thanh Tinh (Tranquillity) house, Huong (Perfume) port, Tuong Van (Lucky Cloud) gazebo, Mac Huong (Fragrant Lotus) house, Xuan Phong (Spring Wind) house. Each house has an interesting background.

Thanh Tinh, which is the place where the artist's family has welcomed many famous Vietnamese and foreign politicians, is a 200-year-old large house made of ironwood from Nam Dinh province. The old stilt house of Viet Phu Thanh Chuong is also the home of the Muong ethnic people in Hoa Binh province aged up to 100 years. In middle room of each ancient house, pavillion or tower, visitors immerse themselves in ancient and sacred space featuring with altars. There is a small rest area designed in the old way.

Although the stone statue garden is very small, its collection of statues remind visitors about secluded and quiet gardens in Hue Ancient Capital. There is a thatched cottage with earthen walls that is a reproduction of his childhood home in Yen The hill area (Nha Nam commune, Bac Giang province). There is also a large and ornate theater named Long Dinh with outdoor space for water puppetry and indoor stage for other art performaces. There is a house preserving valuable literary works of writer Kim Lan.

Modern architecture in harmony with pictures of Vietnamese people through thousands of artifacts from dynasties such as Dinh, Ly, Tran, Le, etc. helps Viet Phu easily touches visitors’ soul towards ancient Vietnamese architecture and culture.

Viet Phu Thanh Chuong was called “one of best attractions in Hanoi” by The New York Times, an US famous newspaper.
