Hanoi Party Committee has agreed plans to hold a fireworks display on the occasion of 2015 Lunar New Year’s Eve and some great holidays in 2015.

Accordingly, Hanoi will let off fireworks in 30 places on 2015 Lunar New Year’s Eve (February 18th, 2015).

Five high-range displays will take place in Hoan Kiem lake (Hoan Kiem district), Thong Nhat park (Hai Ba Trung district), Lac Long Quan flower garden (Tay Ho district), Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong district), and My Dinh National Stadium (Nam Tu Liem district).
25 low-range displays will be set off in 25 districts and towns including Dong Da, Thanh Xuan, Ba Dinh, Tu Liem North Street, Thanh Tri, Hoang Mai, Gia Lam, Long Bien, Soc Son, Dong Anh Linh, Shanxi, Ba Vi, Phuc Tho, Yen Phuong Hoai Duc, Thanh Oai, Quoc Oai, Chuong My, Ung Hoa, My Duc, Thuong Tin, Phu Xuyen.
Hanoi’s leaders required that the organization of fireworks display need to ensure the safety of people and equipping before, during and after letting off fireworks.
In addition, Hanoi Party Committee has approved a plan to carry high-range 15-minute firework shows in five places of the city to mark of the Liberation of South Vietnam and the International Labor (30/4 - 1/5) and National Day (2/9).
