Fishermen seized by China have good health

China has so far detained a total of 13 Vietnamese fishermen and their two fishing boats at Sanya port of Sanya city, Hainan province, according to the Vietnamese General Consul in Guangzhou.

Chinese authorities on July 3 seized a Vietnamese fishing baot with 6 people on board operating in their traditional fishing grounds in the Bac Bo (Tonkin) Gulf.
 
They on July 12 seized another fishing boat from Quang Binh province with 7 people on board.
All the fishermen have good health and have been provided with daily necessities, said the Consul General.
The Vietnamese embassy in China and the Vietnamese Consulate General in Guangzhou are working closely with relevant Chinese agencies to tackle the case rationally so as bring the fishermen and their boats back home soon.
