FPT still in Vietnam’s Top 5 in ICT

In 2007, FPT Corporation’s revenue reached VND 13.893 trillion, contributing VND 1.915 trillion to the State coffer. In 2008, FPT will continue to strengthen its software outsourcing activities with the opening of two overseas companies: FPT Software Europe in Paris and FPT Software Malaysia.

Hanoi Times - July 14th, 2008 FPT Corporation and 4 other subsidiaries received commendations for Vietnam Top 5 ICT 2008.

In 2007, FPT Corporation’s revenue reached VND 13.893 trillion, contributing VND 1.915 trillion to the State coffer. In 2008, FPT will continue to strengthen its software outsourcing activities with the opening of two overseas companies: FPT Software Europe in Paris and FPT Software Malaysia.

This is the 6th consecutive year FPT has affirmed its leading position in ICT, winning most prizes in the Information Technology, Communication and Electronics Exhibitions held by the Hochiminh City Computing Association.

The 5 awards FPT and subsidiaries acquired this year include:

- TOP 5 Leading ICT Companies in Vietnam in 2008: the Corporation for Financing and Promoting Technology; 

- TOP 5 Leading Computer Brands in Vietnam in 2008: FPT E-lead Computer – FPT E-lead Computer Center

- TOP Leading Vietnam Software Companies in 2008: FPT Information System; 

- TOP Leading Vietnam Software Outsourcing Company in 2008: FPT Software; 

- TOP Leading Vietnam Information Technology Training Institution in 2007: Aptech Vietnam

Also, FPT won 2 Gold for Information Technology enterprise with high revenue:

- High revenue hardware enterprise: FPT E-lead Computer Center

- High revenue Information Technology training enterprise: Aptech Vietnam

FPT Corporation was also voted by readers of PC World Vietnam as the Company with the Best Post-sale Services.

The TOP 5 ICT & Gold ICT Vietnam is awarded based o­n the annual revenue of participating companies. They are respected awards in the Vietnam ICT industry.
