A week of Italian will be kicked off at 18 Le Phung Hieu st in Hanoi from October 23-30 as part of the 14th edition of the Global Italian Language Week.

The event is being held by the Italian Embassy in Vietnam with the objective of popularising Italy’s language and culture to Vietnamese people and providing an opportunity for deeper cooperation between the two nations.

The week-long event will feature various activities, including the photograph exhibition “Milan - reading corner”, a workshop on e-books and the future of publishing, and the debut of the Vietnamese version of the popular novel of “I’m not scared”.

The last event will take place on October 30 with the introduction of the first Italian language course-book and text book on Italian literature for Vietnamese students and lovers of the Italian language.
