Hanoi approves the adoption of 2017 as the Year of Administrative Discipline in an effort to strengthen disciplines, improve work ethics, attitude and behavior of civil servants, said Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai at the third session of the 3rd meeting of Hanoi People`s Council XV.

Based on analysis and forecast of the advantages, opportunities, difficulties and challenges, deputies specify general and particular targets, key tasks and measures for 2017. Special attention is paid to solutions to enhance eight important working programs of Hanoi Party Committee, five key missions and three breakthroughs; measures to ease difficulties in important fields, such as water supply, especially rural water, environmental treatment, disbursement for capital construction and traffic infrastructure, fire fighting and prevention, food safety and hygiene, and violations of construction order.
Based on legal regulations, deputies discuss and finalize resolutions before the Municipal People’s Council makes decision, especially the key projects and works in the period of 2016 to 2020, regulations on decentralization of revenues and expenses, share of revenues between different levels, norm of allocating budget expenditures in the budget stabilization period (2016 to 2020).
Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai requested deputies to assess the development of Ha Noi since the launching of Capital Law on the basic of Municipal People’s Committee reports, hence pointing out progress, shortcomings and reasons.
