Hanoi and Yen Bai strengthen linkage in investment and tourism

The event is expected to connect the supply of goods between Hanoi and Yen Bai Province, as well as other provinces nationwide, to meet the consumer demands.

The Hanoi - Yen Bai 2023 Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Program will be held from September 28 to October 2 in Nghia Lo City, northern Yen Bai Province.

The program, hosted by the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion (HPA) in coordination with relevant organizations, aims to strengthen investment, trade, and tourism links between Hanoi and other localities. It supports enterprises, cooperatives, and production units in promoting and introducing products and expanding distribution systems in this northern province and the Northwest Region.

During the program, HPA will hold an exhibition to promote specialties, One Commune, One Product (OCOP) items, handicrafts, gifts, agricultural products and food, attractive tourist destinations and new tourism products from Hanoi to other provinces and cities.

This month, the HPA will organize an investment, trade, and tourism cooperation program and business liaison event in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China.

In November, under the theme "Connecting for Development - Link to Grow", an investment, trade and tourism promotion conference combined with an exhibition of typical products will be held between Hanoi and northwestern mountainous provinces in Lao Cai Province.

A series of such programs under the theme "Hanoi and Capital Region Provinces - Connecting for Development - Link to Grow" will be held in three northern provinces, including Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang and Ha Nam.

HPA will also participate in trade promotion events between Hanoi and Japanese enterprises in Japan this year.

Nguyen Anh Duong, Director of HPA, stressed that these events are organized to increase the promotion and consumption of safe farm produce and OCOP products from Hanoi and other provinces and cities nationwide. "At the same time, they aim to connect producers from different provinces and cities with distribution channels in Hanoi," he added.
