Hanoi approves 12 public investment projects worth US$167 million

Hanoi People’s Committee would create favorable conditions for project owners to complete projects with quality and on time.

The Hanoi People’s Council has approved 12 public investment projects worth VND3.89 trillion (US$167.62 million).

Following the council’s approval, the municipal People’s Committee is tasked with instructing respective project investors and related parties to set up respective construction plans and ensure site clearance goes as scheduled.

The council requested school projects to be included in the city’s planning of school network in compliance with the Law on Planning dated November 24, 2017 and meet criteria on technical specification and construction.

Additionally, all projects must fully comply with the Law on Public Investment and other related regulations, while the feasibility studies for each project must incorporate recommendations and suggestions from departments and units.

The Hanoi People’s Committee is expected to request departments and units to supervise the implementation process of projects, ensure efficiency in using state capital and prevent losses during the construction process.

The committee is responsible for creating favorable conditions for project investors to complete projects that meet requirements in quality and respective schedule, focusing on allocating sufficient funds in line with the progress of projects.

The 12 projects are as follows:

1 – Construction of Political Training Center, Bac Tu Liem district;

2 – Construction of Viet Hung High school, Dong Anh district;

3 – Construction of Nguyen Khe High school, Dong Anh district;

4 - Construction of Uy No High school, Dong Anh district;

5 – Construction of junction road in Tay Tuu residential area, Bac Tu Liem district;

6 – Upgrading national road No.32 Phase 1, Ba Vi district;

7-  Upgrading provincial road 414C, Ba  Vi district;

8 – Upgrading national road No.21B, Thanh Oai district;

9 – Upgrading provincial road No.413, Son Tay commune;

10 – Upgrading provincial road No.414, Son Tay district;

11 – Construction of Duc Noi – Vo Nguyen Giap road, Dong Anh district;

12 – Clearing construction site at land plots 3A1, 3A2, Nam Tu Liem district;
