Hanoi colored in red on Reunification Day celebrations

Vietnam’s Reunification Day is aimed to commemorate the end of war in 1975.

Every corner of Hanoi is decorated in red by national flags on the day celebrating the country’s 46th anniversary of the Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2021).

Flags are hung not only in big streets but small paths, featuring the occasion is one of major national events.

In addition to national pride, Hanoi dwellers, like the entire people of Vietnam, holds a flag in hope of living in peace.

Reporter of the Kinh te & Do Thi newspaper will lead you through those paths on April 30.
