Hanoi People`s Committee has issued Notification No. 114 to convey the conclusions of the collective leadership of the City People`s Committee Organization implementing the project of walking space from Hoan Kiem Lake and its vicinity. Accordingly, the City`s perseverance scheme piloted walking space from Hoan Kiem Lake and the adjacent area to the end of June 30, 2017.

The City assigned Hoan Kiem Home Affairs Committee to coordinate the concerned departments and units to continue implementing a pilot project in accordance with the pedestrian street. Pedestrian street in the organization, combined with the building program and organized activities planning for the 4 types of culture: food culture; intangible culture of the city and the province, city, region; international flower festival in the country; outdoor music shows, street art.
For these types of business services in the space of pedestrian street, the City asked not to organize additional catering services, research plan for maintenance charges, maintenance of greenery, lawns, lighting. Strengthening the management and handling radical acts, causing loss of security and order, hawkers, noise, waste compromising, quality service organization.
Statistics and streamline business units serving fun type of bar, children (cars, roller, etc.) into separate areas to ensure order and safety (researching into the field office of Supplying children's goods). Hoan Kiem District People's Committee also delivered expeditiously finalize the project renovated on the streets around Hoan Kiem Lake, decorative flowers on the street-front facade, completing design documents of construction investment projects, renovation and refurbishment of the area around Hoan Kiem Lake on June 30.
In this notice, the City also requires the District to coordinate with the Department of Culture and Sport and work with the Swiss Embassy to plan to move Swiss watch items for construction of milestones No.0.
