The city has been implementing many solutions to boost the consumption of the labeled products.
Hanoi continues to cooperate with localities to open new showrooms displaying and selling products under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program, according to Tran Thi Phuong Lan, Acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade.

The department’s acting director Lan said her agency and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development have made a list of more than 1,800 OCOP products of Hanoi, and 15 provinces and cities to deploy the plan of setting up 30-40 new showrooms under the OCOP program this year.
To support OCOP subjects, the city has proposed the Government soon issue a synchronous policy to effectively implement the OCOP Program for the 2021-25 period.
Head of Hong Van Ornamental Trees Cooperative in Thuong Tin District Nguyen Van Tu said that the unit’s moringa tea products are on display at many OCOP showrooms of the city.
He added this is an opportunity for it to approach customers, so the unit has to improve the quality and design of products to meet consumers’ demand. The program is even more meaningful in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, which is wreaking havoc on the OCOP products market.
Nguyen Van Chi, Permanent Deputy Chief of the Hanoi Office of New Rural Development Program Coordination said Hanoi has 1,054 OCOP products out of the country’s more than 4,400 from 59 provinces and cities.
The city's OCOP products are diverse in types bearing the characteristics of each district and town where they are produced as well as fully meeting the quality standard.
