This expo, held from November 6-8 at the Hanoi Museum in Nam Tu Liem District, provides companies with the opportunity to showcase their technology products, services, and solutions while seeking strategic partners in e-commerce and digital technology.
The Hanoi Promotion Agency, the organizer of this exhibition, said the 2,500sq.m has 60 booths showcasing the potential for digital technology development in Hanoi and surrounding regions, creating networking opportunities for investors and enterprises.
"Through this program, investors and enterprises involved in digital technology and high-tech applications will enhance cooperation, positioning Hanoi and the northern provinces as a leading hub for digital transformation nationwide," said Nguyen Anh Duong, Director of HPA.
This event is part of the "Link to Grow" investment, trade and tourism promotion program focused on digital technology, high-tech innovation and related electronic industry products in the Red River Delta region.

At the exhibition, Duong highlighted the goal of establishing 10,000 digital enterprises and identifying 10 key digital product categories as part of the city's digital enterprise development plan by 2025.
The plan will nurture 10 innovative digital technology startups capable of providing products and services that support digital government, digital economy, and digital society initiatives. With this strategy, Hanoi aims to reaffirm its leadership in the information technology and digital sectors, according to the HPA director.
He said that this foundation is essential for the city's significant development and achieving its socio-economic goals in the near future. To this end, Hanoi will focus on several key solutions, including better information dissemination, implementing appropriate policies, developing digital infrastructure, and promoting scientific research and technology to create a market for digital enterprises.
Ha Minh Hai, Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee and Deputy Head of the city’s Steering Committee for Administrative Reform and Digital Transformation, said that the city has made significant strides in its digital transformation efforts.
He pointed out that Hanoi was ranked among the world’s Top 100 Smart Cities in 2024 by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in collaboration with the World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization (WeGO), underscoring the effectiveness of these initiatives.
The city has delivered three strategic goals focused on digital infrastructure, digital platforms and digital data, as well as two essential requirements related to information security and service development, Hai told Vnbusiness.
The city has fully implemented digital signatures in the shared document management software across 100% of the municipal agencies. In addition, several shared information databases have been created across all three levels of government.
With its current foundation and set goals, telecom companies will push up the rollout of 5G mobile networks, prioritizing development in concentrated information technology zones and the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park. It will also strengthen science and technology efforts in digital fields like AI, big data, blockchain, and cloud computing.
The city plans to host annual conferences for dialogue between the city government and digital enterprises to foster communication and cooperation to address challenges, under the city's motto of "Government in Partnership - Enterprises Contributing Ideas - Economic Development." Meanwhile, it will continue developing its IT startup incubator model, supporting digital tech enterprises to drive economic development, enhance the investment environment, and promote trade.
