Hanoi encourages investment in 12 start-up IT projects

Hanoi’s Department of Information and Communications has recently organised an investment promotion conference to call for investment in 12 start-up projects under the Hanoi Innovative Business Incubator of Information Technology.

 
 
According to head of the incubator’s management board Vu Tan Cuong, the 12 projects underwent three rounds of selection by the incubator’s advisory council. Among them, the projects on information technology application in classifying rubbish, easy-learning application, and an e-commerce platform of online retail agents received investors’ attention.

Director of the municipal Department of Information and Communications Phan Lan Tu said that through this conference, her department wants to promote start-up ideas. Within the framework of the event, the Hanoi Innovative Business Incubator of Information Technology signed a cooperation agreement with the Hewlett Packard Vietnam Information Technology and Software Limited Company. Under the document, the company will support Hanoi’s start-up ecosystem.
