The initiative aims to enhance trade and tourism potential and benefits between the nation's two largest cities.

The program to promote products and strengthen tourism links between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will be held from August 23 to 25 at Nguyen Hue Walking Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

This is stated in the latest plan of the Hanoi People's Committee to promote craft villages, One Commune One Product (OCOP) goods, cuisine, specialties and signature tourism offers to consumers in Ho Chi Minh City as well as domestic and international tourists.
The initiative also seeks to enhance the cooperative relationship between the nation's two largest cities in order to maximize the potential and benefits of trade and tourism between the two sides and throughout the region,
Domestic and international visitors to the event will be able to experience demonstration areas of skilled artisans from seven traditional craft villages in Hanoi, exhibition spaces showcasing 70 signature products of traditional craft villages from different periods, staged models and miniature cultural and tourism scenes of Hanoi, and spaces promoting the city's tourism products and services.
Participants will have the opportunity to sample traditional Hanoi cuisine in the culinary area and purchase products from the craft villages, such as OCOP items, specialty foods, and other signature offerings.
As part of the program, there will be activities linking trade and tourism between businesses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
