Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam cooperate in tourism development

In the framework of the national conference on tourism development in Hoi An city, central Quang Nam province, on August 9, Departments of Tourism of Hanoi city, Thua Thien-Hue province, Da Nang city and Quang Nam province has signed a cooperation programme in tourism development for 2016-2020 period.

Director of the Hanoi Tourism Department Do Dinh Hong said the signing of tourism cooperation aims to improve the effectiveness of links and cooperation among tourism departments of the four localities.

In addition, the cooperation programme plans to enhance to mobilise the creativity and initiative of authorities, businesses, organizations and individuals operating in the field of tourism, and promote collaboration and information exchange in the tourism management among the four departments.
Accordingly, Hanoi, Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang and Quang Nam will jointly find out measures to overcome the difficulties and problems in the tourism management.
The four localities will collaborate effectively implement the support activities for travel management, transport, accommodation, tourism products and services.
Under the programme, there will be regular information exchange on tourism development held quarterly.
At the same time, the four tourism departments will coordinate in organising their activities of tourism propaganda, promotion and market expansion at home and abroad.
They will cooperate to welcome visitors coming from provinces and cities nationwide as well as countries, states and territories worldwide to Hanoi, Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam and vice versa, with the spirit of "Four provinces, cities - One destination".
Besides, the four localities will participate in the tourism events, promotional activities and fairs in the domestic and international main tourism markets held by the four departments.
In addition, the four provinces and cities will organise from 1  to  2 joint tourism programme annually and will coordinate in supporting tourists as well as businesses, organisations and activities in the field of tourism.
