On January 30, (i.e the 3rd of Tet Festival), Spring Book Street - 2017 was officially opened in Le Thach Street and Ly Thai To Flower Garden, Hanoi, attracting numerous people.
The ceremory saw the attandance of Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee and Mr. Ngo Van Quy - Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee.
These are activities to celebrate the 87th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - 2017), at the same time creating a cultural space for people to read during Tet Holiday, honoring the culture of reading and reading development movement, which aims to build a learning society, contributes to building an elegant and civilized Capital.
The activities include exhibiting, selling the books category; introduction of new publications, exchanging with writers; introducing the art of calligraphy, coloring and painting for children; organizing a number of Xuan Tho program, traditional art performances and so on. The Book Street also reported the press agencies of Hanoi and a central issue. In addition, the organizers also arranged a number of areas as spatial reading, resting, relaxing.
