At the invitation of Chiang Mai Journalists Association, the delegation of Hanoi Journalists Association led by Mr. Ho Quang Loi - Standing Vice Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association, Secretary General of ASEAN Federation of Journalism, former Chairman of Hanoi Journalists Association paid a working visit to Chiang Mai and Bangkok Capital (Thailand).
During the visit in Thailand, the delegation had an exchange of experiences on the work of professional, economic activities with the leaders of Chiang Mai Journalists Association, Thai News, digital television of Spring News, Thairath press (a combination of tradition, including printed release of 1 million copies per day, electronic media, with the number of television viewers gets 3rd in Thailand).
At the working session, the leaders of Chiang Mai Province, Thailand Press Federation, Chiang Mai Journalists Association, leaders of mass media have valued relationships, sincere friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand media in general, Hanoi and Chiang Mai press in particular in recent years.
On behalf of the delegation, Standing Vice Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association Ho Quang Loi presented an overview of development performance of the press in Vietnam and Hanoi recently. He expected that the relationship between the press of the two countries continue to develop further, contributing to boost cooperation ties, the two countries' development. Mr. Ho Quang Loi also thanked the sincere welcome, passionate friendship of Chiang Mai Journalists Association, the leader of the press agency in Chiang Mai and Bangkok with the delegation of Hanoi Journalists Association.
