Officially launched in November 4, the Hanoi Promotion Month has attracted a high number of visitors to participate in a series of events in the Promotion Month. Especially in 02 “Golden Promotion Days” on November 18-19, the event has attracted hundred of thousands of visitors.
Before and after the two golden promotion days of the Hanoi Promotion Month 2017, a delegate of the Hanoi Department of Industry & Trade has checked on the preparation process and products of enterprises participating in the event.
50 golden sale points in Hanoi are super markets, shopping malls, banks, enterprises have consistently offered products with discount price of 15 – 50% for electronic products, cosmetics, foods and fashion clothes, along with other attractive sale events. At present, there are more than 100,000 products being sold in the Promotion month, more than double the goods in the previous event.
According to the Hanoi Department of Industry & Trade, customers have given positive responses to the Promotion Month in general, and the two golden promotion days in particular. At almost all golden sale points, the number of customers and goods sold in the first 02 weeks of the Promotion Month have significantly increased, especially in 02 golden promotion days, hundred of thousands of visitors have come to the event.
Golden sale point at the consumer electronics retailer Mediamart Cau Giay has attracted high number of visitors. The retailer has prepared thoroughly for the Promotion Month with diversified products, along with banners and posters advertising the Promotion Month. On the other hand, Mediamart also organized an exclusive space for products with deep discount right at the front to attract customers. Representative of Mediamart said, in the first 2 weeks of the Hanoi Promotion Month 2017, the retailer has revenue of 72 billion VND, up 50% compared to the previous 2 weeks. In particularly, in the 02 golden promotion days, Mediamart has offered 6,000 products with deep discount, focusing on consumer electronic products such as televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, smart phones. As such, Mediamart has attracted more than 12,000 visitors with revenue of 18 billion USD, more than double on normal weekends.
Another golden sale point in PICO Nguyen Trai consumer electronics retailer, Marketing manager Nguyen Quang Duc said, right in the beginning, the effect of the Promotion month has contributed to a high number of visitors coming to PICO. Especially in two golden promotion days in November 18 and 19, the number of visitors has increased from 30 – 40%, with revenue also increased 20 – 30% compared to the same period of last year. Favorite products are mainly electronic products, refrigerators, televisions and washing machine.
On the other hand, PICO also cooperated with the organizing board offering a limited number of vouchers in the event’s website, so that customers will register to have discount code. In order to meet the customers’ demands in the 02 golden promotion days, PICO has mobilized additional staffs in logistics process, with a view to ensure the best services offered to customers.
