The Spring Book Festival 2017 will be organised from March 15-19 at Vietnamese Women’s Museum at 36 Ly Thuong Kiet street, Hanoi.
The Spring Book Festival 2017 is scheduled to open at the Vietnamese Women Museum on March 15.
This festival is a joint activity of three publishing houses, including Phu Nu (Women), Tre (the Youth) and Kim Dong.
According to the organising board, the latest releases of Kim Dong, Women and Youth Publishing Houses will be introduced to readers at the opening ceremony.
This year’s festival, themed "Small book, big mind", will feature books from different genres, including literary works, history books, manga, science textbooks and cookbooks.
On the occasion, the publishing houses will host a book launch to introduce the book Dan Ong Cung Cos Diem G (Male G spot) by Di Li, Tam Phan and Hoang Anh Tu at 10 am on March 15. Readers participating in the event will have the chance to speak with the authors.
The autobiography Decisive by Japanese authors Chip and Dan Health will also be launched, and an event exploring Japanese culture through folk games will be featured.
The festival will introduce to readers thousands of book with attractive prices and discounts from 15 to 50%. There will be a same-price book pavilion.
On this occasion, Phu Nu Publishing House will introduce a Japanese book series and a set of books entitled “All about Japan”, and a set of book using software for readers to watch 3D pictures on mobile phone at 9:00 am on March 18.
The book festival runs through March 19.
