Occupying in a spacious area of 38.28 hectares, the new museum will feature a multi-purposed displaying and studying area; a reception-cum-exhibition hall; a service area; a research center and office space; a specimen processing and technical zone, and a mini forest of the evergreen plant.
The approval of the project’s detailed plan will be the basis to call for investment. The city’s ambition is to build a premier Nature Museum with modern facilities and technical infrastructure in Vietnam, according to Hanoi’s authorities.
The museum will perform the functions of a great nature museum, fulfilling the mission of preserving cultural heritage, doing scientific research, educating science, and serving the community's interests.
The municipal People’s Committee assigned the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quoc Oai District and relevant authorities of Liep Tuyet, Ngoc My, and Ngoc Liep communes to be responsible for inspecting, managing, and supervising construction according to planning.
The detailed planning of the Museum of Nature will be announced to the public in the near future.
