This is confirmed by representative of the Hanoi Electricity Corporation at a press briefing held by the Propaganda Department of Hanoi Party Committee on April 14.
The Hanoi Electricity Corporation will deploy technical measures to ensure a stable power supply for the city during the hot summer months.
Nguyen Danh Duyen, Deputy General Director of the company said the measures include hotline repair solutions, installing supervision devices, using independent transformer stations and enhancing relay systems at 110 kilovolt transformer stations.
In order to ensure electricity supply for municipal residents this summer, the company directed to prohibit cutting power to repair if it is sunny over 36 degrees C.
Duyen also called on the community to use electricity efficiently and avoid using electrical devices simultaneously.
In addition, in the upcoming holidays, the company will not cut high voltage and medium voltage power from April 28 to May 1.
