Hanoi to free environmentally-friendly delivery bags from April 1st

The Hanoi Times - From April 1, customers will receive free environmentally-friendly delivery bags in some of Hanoi’s supermarkets to help reduce the use of plastic bags, according to Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association.

The Hanoi Times - From April 1, customers will receive free environmentally-friendly delivery bags in some of Hanoi’s supermarkets to help reduce the use of plastic bags, according to Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association.


Mr Nguyen Thanh Luu, Chairman of the Climate Changes Cope Support Center under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association said around 5,000 bags will be given to customers.


The bags are made with a polymer combined with renewable items, not harmful to the environment. The 3 year-long-life bag is 60 cm height, 50 cm wide, can be adjusted in size and is designed to be carried and hung o­n motorbikes.
