Hanoi People`s Committee has approved the city`s overall plan to prevent and fight fire by 2025 with a view towards 2030.
Under the plan, about 6,500 firefighters will be employed to work in this field by 2030.
By 2030, more than 285,000sq.m will be allocated to build an agency for fire prevention and fighting work in the city.
The project identifies specificly the plan to develop a system of means and equipments for fire prevention and fighting.
Hanoi will also buy two planes to improve the city's capacity to fight fires at high-rise buildings.
The total investment of the plan is estimated to worth about 11,501 billion VND.
