Head of the Performing Arts Department Nguyen Dang Chuong said that a new feature of this year’s festival is that apart from competing performances, participating troupes will perform in provinces of Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Hai Duong, Vinh Phuc and Thanh Hoa.
The performances will help improve local spiritual life as well as help foreign friends understand more about Vietnamese culture.
