Hanoi to host International Kangaroo math contest this March

The International Kangaroo Math Contest, that is jointly organised by the Innovative Education Group (IEG) and the Centre for Education Research and Application (CERA) under the Vietnam National University Hanoi branch, will take place in Hanoi and HCM City on March 20 for the first time.

The contest targets children aged from 6-12.
Students from Hanoi will participate in the contest in Doan Thi Diem Primary School, Ngoi Sao Hanoi (Hanoi Star) Primary School, and Vinschool Primary School.
The examination has three levels, for grades 1-2, grades 3-4, and grades 5-6. The most outstanding contestants will be chosen to attend the Kangaroo Math Club and the Math Camp that will be organised in July this year.
The International Kangaroo Math Contest was first held in France in 1991. The annual programme attracts more than 6 million participants from 50 nations and territories worldwide.
