Over 100 exhibitors from more than 14 countries/territories will showcase the latest technological innovations at the plastics and rubber industry fair, which is expected to attract more than 3,500 attendees.
The event aims to connect suppliers with business customers, provide a platform for manufacturers to introduce new products and technologies, and promote a circular economy for the plastics industry.
The three-day exhibition will bring together international companies from Germany, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan (China) to showcase machinery and equipment for the plastics and rubber industries, raw materials and additives, finished products, engineering components, reinforced plastics, comprehensive services, research and science, and many other products.
These new technologies promise to create optimal opportunities in the design of plastic materials, from separation technologies to recycling, to create highly renewable biodegradable plastic materials.
Within the event, a series of seminars hosted by outstanding exhibitors and industry associations will cover insightful topics such as modern technology applications, productivity, and sustainable development trends.
The Vietnamese market is primarily driven by two major sectors in the plastics industry, namely packaging and construction plastics. Packaging, in particular, maintains its position as the leading segment, holding the largest market share in revenue, comprising 35% of the total market size. Over the period of 2023 to 2028, the plastic packaging sector is anticipated to experience a growth rate of 15% to 20%.
Currently, there are more than 900 factories operating in this field, 70% of which are located in the southern region, mainly in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Dong Nai.
