Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports said that numerous special art performances will be organised to celebrate New Year 2016.
Vietnamese singers and artists and some famous international DJs will partipate in the stellar performances from December 31 to January 1 to welcome the New Year 2016.
According to the department, the performances will be arranged meticulously with impressing stages as well as brilliant sound and light systems.
Held annually at Ly Thai To Flower Garden, the New Year countdown festival will bring a kaleidoscopic night to the audiences. The show will feature music and contemporary dance performances.
The August Revolution Square will be lightened up during the holiday with vibrant light and music performances given by Vietnam Contemporary Art Theatre and relevant organisations.
