French pianist Jean-Louis Haguenauer and his musician friends will perform at L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi on August 19.
It is an unprecedented meeting of internationally renowned artists from all 4 continents, including pianist Jean-Louis Haguenauer, violinists Bui Cong Duy, Gregory Lee, Chuong Vu, Tran Huu Quoc, Ngo Hoang Linh, Phan To Trinh, viola artists Yi-Wen Chao and Bo Li, celloists Eugene Osadchy and Ross Gasworth.
Artists will perform the following works: Ernest Chausson (1855 – 1899); Quintet for piano and strings No. 1 in D minor, op.89 (1890-94), Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924). Molto moderato, Adagio, Allegretto moderato, Jean-Louis Haguenauer, piano. And Vietnamese artists Chuong Vu, violin I, Phan To Trinh, violin II… Tickets will be available at L’Espace from July 19.

the musical performance is happened on a boat and a red river, when the sky was clear and people were discussing about storm prevention. The Emperor, Empress, concubines, princes and princes discuss: Is the river always peaceful? Is heaven always blue? Are people always happy forever?

A presentation by sound designer Morinaga Yasuhiro will be held in Hanoi by the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam as part of its cultural exchange activities in Jul 21.
In this presentation, Morinaga Yasuhiro will talk about sound design in terms of art (film, performing arts) and introduce his works.
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Morinaga went to France and follow guidance by musician – film critic Michel Chion. Back to Japan, he undertook fieldwork mainly in Asia, recording live sounds as well as music at local rituals and festivals, as well as carrying out compositions in many places. He is now the brand director of concrete.

From Jul 16 to 30, the exhibition will feature 33 paintings designed by Jean-Pierre Guéno, put on a picture by Jérôme Pecnard and produced by the Museum of Letters and Manuscripts, which are inspired by two exceptional books Inheriting the Earth: Saving the Little Prince’s Planet and The Memory of the Little Prince by Jean-Pierre Guéno and by the works of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry himself such as Terre des hommes, Night Flight, Le Petit Prince, Courrier du Sud, Citadel, War Pilot, Peace or War, I went to see my plane tonight …

As chance doesn’t exist, Diane receives a phone call from a certain Alexandre, who had found the mobile phone that she’d lost. Very quickly, something happens during the phone call. Alexandre is polite, funny, obviously cultivated… Diane is charmed. They quickly arrange a date. But their meeting won’t go at all as planned.
