Hanoi's numerous voters excited to participate in the General Election Day

In the jubilant atmosphere of tens of millions voters nationwide, more than 5.2 million citizens in Hanoi city exercised their rights to choose deputies to the 14th National Assembly (NA) and all-level People’s Councils for 2016-2021 on May 22.

As early as 6am on May 22, the atmosphere of most of the polling stations in the city was very lively and playful.

Earlier, preparations for the elections have been completed thoughtfully. From early morning of May 22, local officials and all the mass forces were present at the polling station ready to cast their ballots.
In Thanh Xuan district, at the polling station number 10, Thanh Xuan Trung ward, Secretary of the district's Party Committee Vu Cao Minh Chairman of People's Committee of Thanh Xuan district Nguyen Xuan Luu attended the vote.
Recorded at polling stations No.1 and No.2 in Kim Giang Ward, Thanh Xuan District, young voter Tran Quang Tam (born in 1998) who attends the election for the first time, felt so proud and excited, and expressed his wish to see the country developing strongly.

Constituent Tran Ngoc Tuong (born in 1948) in Kim Giang ward, one of the oldest voters said that he is very happy and proud when witnessing Hanoi city more beautiful, dignified and developed. He also expected the elected deputies to bring the voice of the people and voters nationwide contributing to the national development.
In Ba Vi district, numerous voters of ethnics of Muong, Dao of Ba Vi commune went to the polls to implement their interests in the General election Day.
Voter Dang Xuan Thanh, 66 years old, the Dao ethnic in Hop Nhat village, in Ba Vi district shared that compared with previous elections, the elections's preparations are quite careful. He hoped that the candidates after being elected would be interested in their programs of action as promised. "We want to select talented people, with faith and high sense of responsibility in their works" - Thanh said.

In Dong Da district, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan participated in the vote.
Voter Nguyen Khanh Hoi said polling stations were decorated beautifully. People were guided and carried out their citizenship in order.
In Nam Tu Liem district, at the election station of Region 8 at My Dinh Ward I, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung and Former Head of the Central Committee on Public Ha Thi Khiet attended and voted for the National Assembly deputies) and all-level People’s Councils for 2016-2021.

In Hai Ba Trung district, at the polling stations No.3 Nguyen Du ward, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong went to vote with 1,225 voters, out of the total 5,107 voters in Nguyen Du ward.
In Phu Xuyen district, Mrs. Pham Hai Hoa, Party Committee Secretary of Phu Xuyen district said the district is far from the center of Hanoi, local people's economy depends on manufacturing products, traditional villages, farming production.

The district's Election Commission has actively directed the relevant units doing well the pre-election propaganda. Thus, this morning, people all over the district were very active to perform the rights and obligations of voters in time.
