In the first quarter of 2015, the total sales of goods and services in Hanoi increased by 11.9 percent compared to the same period last year gaining over 442 trillion VND. Retail sales earned more than 104 trillion VND, an annual increase of 11.7 percent.
Retailers in the private sector sold the most goods and services, followed by foreign-invested enterprises and state-owned businesses.
Despite the first quarter concurring with the long Tet festival holiday, the market price was unchangeable.
