The project aims to help tourists learn about and enjoy the unique values of history and culture of Hoi An.
Large turnout of tourists is expected on December 4 in Hoi An town of Quang Nam province as they visit the vestiges without paying for entrance. Also they are expected to be treated to a show of cultural performances that day.
The news was given by Director of Hoi An city Center for Culture and Sports Vo Phung on November 28. Accordingly, the project is part of activities to mark the 19th anniversary of UNESCO’s recognition of Hoi An ancient town as a world heritage site.
