An ceremony was organised at the Friendship Labour Culture Palace in Hanoi on December 27 to honour 49 outstanding employers selected from more than 1,000 employers competing for the "Enterprise for workers" award in 2015.
The event, the second of its kind, was co-chaired by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The 49 awarded employers were recognised for their excellent policies for employees and consistent goals for green and sustainable development.
Addressing the ceremony, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Dang Ngoc Tung said the winners have worked hard to improve work environment and balance benefits of employer, employees and the society towards sustainable development.
